Network Marketing, Economic Bail out & the Birds

Thursday, October 09, 2008

A few weeks back I woke up to the chirpy songs of the birds breathing the morning fresh air as the sun was hinting at breaking out of the horizon. Going about my day, one of the phone calls I got was business related however the early stage of the discussion took on a daily news flair. As usual when I'm asked about my opinion on the latest news, I have to say that I'm not following the news and do not watch a lot of TV. People tend to find that unusual until I explain that I am careful at what I feed my mind, and then the more I explain, the more I see them re-evaluating what news and medias have as an effect on them.

Keeping empowering thoughts only makes sense because thoughts that do not empower us are of absolutely no use to us and since thoughts are completely under our control, why would we entertain dis-empowering thoughts. If you start paying attention to the type of material that is offered to us on TV, very few give you nutritious mind food. There are several programs that I would categorize as "under feeding" your brain where you tend to feel like a zombie due to so little brain stimulation and then at the other end of the spectrum, there's the programming that provide ample stimulation however the negative nature of the material maintains the viewer's focus on problems, stress and worrying matters. The more you watch those the more you get worried and stressed and adopt a perception that the world is in decay.

Yet every morning we wake up, the birds chirp and the sun rises. Some go about their days in a stress accumulation mode and others steer clear of it. The ones that watch what they feed their minds stay focused on taking control of their lives while the others let the world control them. Where do you see yourself? Are you one of those who fall in the trap of economic bailout mayhem or of those who stay locked on target no matter the distractions that attempt to have you deviate from course?

Home Business Entrepreneurs and Network Marketers stay focused on their objectives and they do so by choosing what their brain will feed on and by choosing the thoughts they want to entertain. Empowering thoughts mean more power to you. Here's a thought! Have you taken the time to listen to the birds chirping lately? Bailout or recession; the sun rises, the birds chirp, people wake up, they smell the coffee, they vacation, they watch the sun set and the next day... the birds chirp again and life goes on.
