Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Denise and I have been married to Mark for 20 years and have 3 great boys ages 19,16 and 14. I was born in the resort and lake community of Hayward, Wisconsin. At a young age the "travel bug" bit me as I grew up and worked in a vacation atmosphere and served tourists from Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and many other cities. I then went on to college in the Milwaukee area to pursue a Spanish teaching degree, which furthered my passion for travel and also afforded me the opportunity to live in Mexico. While living in central Mexico, I was able to travel the country extensively as well as explore the diverse beach towns on both coasts. Teaching was wonderful, but my children were very young at the time and I eventually decided that I did not want to spend my entire day with other people's children, while sending my own boys out to virtual strangers to raise them. Hello! My name is Carolyn Gillespie and I�m pleased to share my story with you. As a single parent, I wanted to have more time available for my child and more income to cover unexpected, additional expenses that came along. At the same time, I wanted to continue helping others, which I did as a full-time Reading Specialist/Teacher in a public school. Working in the travel industry was a fit for what I was seeking in a home based business and also provided the benefit of not having to contact friends and family plus not having to make cold calls. After joining with a call center group in December 2006, I had some success, but it was very limited and I knew I could do more with the right training. I actively started to work the business in July while tapping into the outstanding step by step training and support provided by Jani Teeter, Pierre Trudeau, this group and the easy system not to mention being inspired by the integrity within the group and the strong, positive energy. Within a short amount of time, I was Platinum qualified, while on vacation! In addition to experiencing the exceptional vacation products firsthand, I also have learned and discovered how to live a balanced life and how to help others to do the same. With much gratitude, I have resigned from the Reading job to focus on my business b full-time which requires less hours and now I have many more hours available to be parent! I am living my purpose, which is helping others still, only now it's helping them to obtain the freedom to achieve their dreams using this business as the vehicle to get there. I have nothing but confidence in my chosen leaders; I shopped around before deciding! Both Jani and Pierre have exhibited so many admirable qualities that I wish to emulate: determination, persistence, and honesty. After researching other home based businesses I decided to look more closely a travel opportunity, living and working in the Caribbean for 10 years and working on board Carnival Cruise ships as a 1st Purser for 5 years has giving me the opportunity to live a life of luxury travel, so when I saw that the Synergy Marketing Group marketed travel at wholesale cost I was really excited. That’s when I spoke with Jani Teeter for the first time, I am probably one of the very few if not the only one in her team who has had the privilege of meeting Jani in person. We are lucky enough to be living approx 30 minutes away from each other, Jani is extremely devoted to her Daughter Matia and her business, she always makes a point of finding time for you and is always willing to give you a hand even after hours if it will help you succeed. After learning of her life story, which, only convinced me even more that Jani, is an extremely strong and special individual. Her attitude in life and business is to always think positive, visualize and materialize. If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be that I truly believe that each of us has the potential to live the life we really truly want to and deserve to live. I believe that God himself ordained it to be that way. And I believe that it is we who have fallen by the wayside and settled for less, when we could step up and have so much more and be so much more. Look at your life. Is this where you always dreamed you’d be? Is this what you always dreamed you would have? Or would you like to be ALL that you can be? Here is MY story… I trained as a Dentist in Nigeria. Moving to the States, I found that I could not practice with out going back to school and doing the whole thing over. Well my passion for the profession was not that great, so I dropped it altogether. I began to follow my dream of becoming a successful working actress. I figured I was in the perfect place for it in New York. But Showbiz is a tough business with a slow and arduous struggle for recognition. So I needed a day job and I have worked several. My most recent lasting over 5 years at a fortune 500 company working as an administrative assistant. This has paid my bills and funded many artistic projects, both mine and others. But as I looked at my new born son right before rushing out of the house to another 9 hours in a cubicle, I had to seriously ask myself. "Is this really what life is all about?"
The answer came easily as my son stretched in his sleep. I decided right then and there - I wanted more! I wanted more money, more time and more freedom. And I wanted it without having to pay malpractice insurance, or to count how many minutes I could afford to spend with each patient, and without having to answer to someone else's whims and setting up fancy hotel stays and trips while I have to stay at the desk and answer phones all the time eagerly counting the days till my next measly vacation. I began to research work at home businesses and came across the travel industry. I saw the opportunity right away, and signed up with one of the call center teams as soon as I could. I was thrilled and started working right away. In no time I could tell that I was changing as a person. As I started training and learning to run my business I began to see how I had cheated myself so much in the past by my own thinking patterns. Even without having made any money yet, and still scared of talking to anyone about my business, I was already becoming a better person in other areas of my life. I was gaining confidence and a winner's mentality. This was great, but I had joined this business to make money, right? and leave my 9 to 5, right?. So I knew I had to really start working the business. I realized that depending on the call center greatly took away from my own personal business development. I made the commitment to myself and stepped out in Faith and then the real miracle happened. I found Jani and the Coastal Synergy Group, now the Synergy Marketing Group. Jani brought me to a presentation with Annette that was awesome. You just have to listen to the presentation to know what I mean. Its more than I can put into words.
